Center of the Sauvegarde de l’enfance pour jeunes
In the Moroccan royal city of Fès, where the population still lives in medieval conditions, Bread Against Misery has set up a bakery for the support of the ones that need it the most.
In the old district of Hay Ziyat, there is a home where girls aged 8 to 18 years are admitted. The foundation gives these orphans, outcasts and delinquent youths a perspective that they did not previously have. The girls were trained by the honorary master bakers in the production of country-specific baked goods such as flatbreads, baguettes or puff pastries. The project was completed in 2009.
